Lynn Webster as Director of LWC Ltd, an independent consultancy, with personally over 35 years’ experience, is recognised for her expertise in the cleaning and associated facilities industry; providing independent, professional cleaning consultancy to a wide range of organisations, across healthcare, retail, leisure, hospitality, and education sectors.

Lynn’s career spans a wide range on management positions held prior to the launch of her own business in 2004. This included healthcare (acute sector, Mental Health, community services and strategic positions in Hotel Services), large retail organisations and hospitality to senior roles in Facilities Management and Contract Cleaning Companies. She is one of the original Top 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Tourism and holds the British Institute of Cleaning Science Sholom Gordon Award for outstanding contribution to the Cleaning Industry. She is a recognised I.C.E. Consultant providing support to companies towards CIMS Accreditation.

In business she provides professional, comprehensive consultancy services in all aspects of cleaning and facilities management supporting and demonstrating compliance. She is a recognised specialist in the cleaning audit arena, with clients from a wide variety of organisations, acknowledging wide ranging expertise with services are delivered both within the UK and in the international marketplace.
Her personal talents are most recognised, an active member of a number of industry bodies including:

  • British Institute of Cleaning Science, where she is currently a member of the National Council; past National Chairman and current Vice Chair of the North East Region;
  • British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM)
  • Cleaning & Support Services Association (CSSA)
  • Association of Health Care Professionals (AHCP)
  • International Executive Housekeeping Association (IEHA) where she represents the UK for education and membership committees & UK Housekeepers Association (UKHA)
  • Judge for the Golden Service Awards, Cleaning Industry Innovation Awards and the European Cleaning Journal European Cleaning Awards for whom she is their UK correspondent
